Lead poisoning remains a public health concern with 2.7% of children in Connecticut affected. It is well documented that certain populations are at higher risk for lead poisoning including immigrant children of South Asian descent. We present a case series of children poisoned by cultural items and treated at the Hart ford Regional Lead Treatment Center. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
